20. Christmas is Coming

The Radfords had an early morning delivery
 that the boys brought inside

"Oh good, the Christmas decorations are out of storage
and just in time to" Kaylee said

"Yeah, it was dropped off this morning, i guess us guys will be
putting up the tree" Sean said
"Yes please, in exchange i'll go make breakfast" Kaylee said

So Kaylee went and started to make some pancakes for breakfast

"Goodmorning Issy" Nigel said " Where's Carl?"

"Sound asleep for once, I will go and get him before
 we all sit down to breakfast" Isabella said

"The Pancakes are Done" Kaylee announced

So Issy went to go get Carl
"Hello little man, you hungry?" Issy said

Turns out he was very hungry

The guys had already shoveled their food in by the time
Issy sat down to the table

"Don't you have work today mum, it is a school day?" Issy asked

"Nope not today, the Christmas holidays have started so
 i get time off" Kaylee replied

"Good then the both of you can decorate the house...
after we do the tree" Sean said

With that Sean and Nigel went to investigate the boxes
 of Christmas decorations

Little Carl was the first one to pick something from
the pile - a Santa Teddy.

"Come on lets leave Daddy and Grandpa alone to deal
with the tree." Issy said
Kaylee's little chat got through to her and she was trying a
lot harder to be a good mother

So she sat down and played with Carl

It took half the the day but the boys finally got the tree up.

Although school was canceled for the holidays, sports games
were not and Sean had to get to work

"Carl, look who i have here" Nigel said

Nigel put on a deep bearish voice and said
 "Hello i'm Santa's very special teddy bear, will you play with me"

Carl loved it and giggled his head off

Isabella put up the stockings

With the Christmas tree up & looking very nice 
the Radfords sit down to relax a little

the two stood admiring their Christmas creation,
 when Kaylee's phone rang

"Hello, this is Kaylee Radford" she answered

"Why, of course we would love to have you"

"Great we will see your Christmas Eve" She said before hanging up

"Guess what, your sister is coming home for
 Christmas and she is bringing the whole family" Kaylee said

"That would be great, Benjamin is about Carl's age right.
they can play together" Issy asked

"Yeah Ben is Carl's age and Kevin is older, you will get
 to meet your nephews" Kaylee said

It was getting late so grandma Kaylee put Carl to bed

Whilst Issy told her father about Briyanna coming for Christmas

Night fell and everyone headed to bed

Nigel would always tend to Carl in the night because my
game sorta glitched or something so his energy bar never
 depletes only the energy bar - it really weird

The next morning Issy was super excited
"Mum, did you want to go Christmas shopping today"

"Sounds good, we should take Carl as well, he would
enjoy a day out" Kaylee said

With that they all jumped in the limo and drove off in
 search of presents

The first place they came to was the Consignment store,
they browsed the merchandise for a while

They found a few bits and pieces before paying

Next they went to the Bookstore

They found quite a few books for everyone before heading home

By the end of the trip they had purchased:
Nectar - for Nigel
Martial arts book - for Sean
Toddler book  and toy Shark - For Carl
Ninja music box and Warlock of Pallidia - For Kevin
Toy Truck and Toddler book - For Ben

Issy stayed home to wrap the presents and stick them under
the tree whilst Kaylee took Zeke for a walk, he was getting into
the wrapping paper and 4 new rolls were destroyed
