21. A White Christmas

With Briyanna and her family arriving soon Kaylee was frantically
cleaning every aspect of the house

"Mum, Bri isn't going to care about a few dog toys
on the ground" Isabella said to comfort her

"I know, but i haven't seen her in such a long time.
 I care if the house is a mess she hasn't seen it before" Kaylee said
before Issy interuppted
"They're here"

Issy was right and Briyanna and her family came walking
down the street from the house they rented

Issy and Kaylee came out to greet them

"Hello again, been having fun in moonlight falls?" Issy said teasingly

"Of course, because i have had so much time on my hands lately"
Briyanna replied sarcastically, gesturing to little Ben in her arms 

Issy and Kaylee invited them inside to warm up,
 it was getting cold which was odd as it never got cold EVER

Isabella went to go get Carl who was asleep in his crib

Kevin ran straight to Christmas tree
"Is the big one mine?" he asked hopefully

"Maybe, but you can't find out until Christmas morning"
Briyanna teased

"Ok Mum, I'm going to have a look around the house"
Briyanna gave him a stern look
 "I promise i won't disturb my cousin" Kevin said before running off 

a while later Isabella came out with a still half asleep Carl

Nigel and Sean however still had to get to work

"Oh he's so cute and he's seems a lot quieter
 than my brother" Kevin said

"I wouldn't say that, Carl has his moments as your
brother does" Issy said

Kaylee started making a nice dinner for everyone

Zeke had a little to much fun earlier and was fast asleep

Soon after a lovely meal Carl stared crying

"here you go, now be quite" Issy said giving him a bottle

Sadly Carl little outburst set Ben off

"I think we should head back to our place for a bit, we
will come see you tomorrow" Briyanna said

Kaylee was sad to see Briyanna go

So after saying their goodbyes they headed off to
 their rental home down the road

I love the new Holiday lights with Seasons,
 makes it really feel like Christmas

By morning a thin layer of snow was forming on the ground

"Why is it so cold and is that snow outside?" Issy questioned

"I'm not sure Issy, but we can't worry about it now.
 it's Christmas so lighten up" Sean said

Briyanna and the boys came bright and early the next morning,
 Kevin was overjoyed

He really enjoyed the rocking horse, it was just like his one at
home. however it was for Carl not for him

It was a great morning with people handing out presents.
 Kevin was so much fun to watch when he got a present,
he looked like he might explode with anticipation

Briyanna was also very thankful for the presents

After all the gift giving and such Kaylee turned on the Television,
 a weather broadcast was on

"From the looks of things it's going to get colder, we had better
get some warmer clothes" Kaylee told Sean 

"Come on then, i think that the Salon is still open today." Sean said

With that they all hopped in a limo and were off

Luckily it was still open and everyone was able to
 find something to wear.

They all looked nice and warm

It had started to snow heavily when they left

Due to the Snow a small festival had set up in a nearby park.
The Radford's and Wyatt's  headed there instead.
 Leo however headed home with Ben and Carl

They all had a go at Skating, which was very amusing to watch

Kevin however had other ideas

He climbed up and got ready to go
"If i can fly a broom, this can't be that hard" he tried to 
convince himself 

So, under the careful watch of Grandpa Sean, Kevin set off
down the ramp

Turns out he was a natural at this to

"Come on, lets head home before we freeze" Sean said

With that Kevin and Sean went to get the others

By the time they arrived back home, Briyanna and her
 family headed back to there place, a heavy layer
of snow had set over the house

The next day was Carls birthday - Nigel carried him to the cake

His whole family was there to support him

Being the clever buy that he was he blew out the candles
 all by himself

***Sparkles***

Honestly he doesn't look to different 

Everyone sat down and enjoyed some cake

"Hey Dad, can i go outside and play in the snow" Carl asked

"Sure, how about we build a snowman together" Nigel said

The guys headed outside and started building

In the meantime Carls room got a little makeover

Tada all finished - i have no idea where they got a broom.
Why does a snowman need a broom anyway?

Briyanna was watching the news again, the snow was falling
very heavily now and as a result planes were being grounded

"Oh no" Briyanna thought to herself

"Will you be able to get back to moonlight falls ok"
Kaylee asked when she had joined her

"I don't think the snow will stop anytime soon so by next week
 out plane will certainly be grounded" Briyanna said
"We might need to catch a plane tomorrow to get home" 

"Well, you can use the computer if you need to
find a flight" Kaylee said "But if you need to stay we will be happy
 to make room for you and the boys here"

Briyanna thanked her mum for the offer and headed
over to the computer

as another Christmas surprise a little gnome appeared on the
 front doorstep

I put him up here he seems to be a bit of a poser -
 and yes i know he won't stay put

Carl entertained Ben whilst Briyanna was on the computer

"Thanks again for letting me use the computer, i found a flight with
just enough spare seats but.." Briyanna paused "it leaves tonight"

"That's ok, you should get home as quickly as you can and
 it will be best for the boys as well" Kaylee said even though
she hated the idea of Briyanna leaving again

"Thanks for understanding mum" Briyanna said giving her a hug

"Aunty Bri, are you guys going now?" Carl asked 

"Yes i'm afraid so, thanks for playing with Ben today"
Briyanna said "i'm so glad i got to be here for your birthday"

With that Briyanna and her family said there goodbyes and left

Sean was being weird and was practicing something
 out of his new Martial arts book

"Grandpa, can we go to the festival now?" Carl asked enthusiasticly

"No, look outside it getting dark and it's time for bed.
 maybe tomorrow"  Sean said

Carl did as he was told and went to bed. Kaylee and Sean
did the same.

"Isabella, i don't know about you. but I've decided that a
 big wedding isn't really practical." Nigel said

"I know what you mean, we don't have the time.
 But what else did you have in mind?" Isabella asked

"Just the family. You, me, Carl, Kaylee and Sean" Nigel said
"We don't really need anyone else"

"Fine, but when, where?" She questioned

"Well i've been thinking about that, i thought we could have
 it tomorrow at the same place your parents got married.
the wedding arch and setup is still there and it's
 not booked." Nigel said

"Tomorrow..." Isabella said unsure
"Yes tomorrow, i don't really want to wait anymore.
we have waited until Carl was older but i think the
 time has come" Nigel said

"You know what, lets do it" Isabella said giving Nigel a hug

after that they both went to bed

Carl was the first one awake the next day

Although it was early he ran straight outside into the snow

He started packing big sections of snow together to make bricks

And after an hour or so he had finished a nice little igloo

Nigel was watching him from the bedroom window for a while

"Nicely done Carl" He said when he cam outside
 "now lets go inside before we freeze"

"Dad, can we go out for breakfast, please" he begged so hard
that Nigel eventually gave in

So Carl went to wake everyone up

Once everyone was up and ready they jumped in Nigel's
 bright green car and were off

They stopped at the same little cafe they always did, whilst there
Nigel and Issy explained there marriage plans

The boys went straight to the park and the girls went
 home to get Issy ready

Issy went inside excitedly

"You look gorgeous, now lets do something with that
hair" Kaylee said hugging her daughter

Sean was gazing at the wedding arch remembering his time
 under it

It wasn't long before Issy showed up

"Isabella Radford, i love you with all my heart and
i always will" Nigel said
(Sadly due to the snow Issy wouldn't stay in her
wedding dress for the ceremony)

They exchanged rings and "I do's"

Whilst Carl and Kaylee threw confettti

"Achoo!!" Carl sneezed

"Come on, lets go home" Isabella said

"b..b..but it's n..n..not even c..cold" Carl shivered 

The all arrived home just in time for the snow to pick up
